We’re looking for a passionate and organized Lead Tabling Coordinator to manage and grow our presence at local events, farmers markets, and community gatherings. This role is essential for building community relationships, spreading climate awareness, and engaging new volunteers. If this role seems a bit out of your comfort zone or you haven’t tabled before, we still encourage you to apply as there are other volunteer tabling roles needed and we will provide you with the training necessary to feel comfortable in this role. The most important aspect of this role is to have strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate tabling opportunities at local events
- Maintain tabling materials (banner, flyers, signup sheets, etc.)
- Set up and take down tabling displays
- Collaborate with the outreach team on messaging and event strategy
- Track engagement and help follow up with new contacts
Estimated time commitment:
In the past, tabling coordinators at ClimateFast spent about 2 hours a week to fulfill the role. Because we are a small (but mighty) grassroots climate group, the role is flexible and mostly dependent on the initiative taken on by the tabling coordinator.
