WHY A SILENT AUCTION?

Raising Funds for Grassroots Action

GNN’s Online Silent Auction is a collaborative fundraiser to raise much needed funds in support of grassroots environmental action across the city and GTA.

One of the most meaningful outcomes of the GNN Silent Auction is the funds it raises and the impact the funds have on volunteer-driven grassroots efforts to make Toronto and the GTA more sustainable.

Advocacy and Outreach
Funds raised will be used to foster community and collaboration among GNN’s 60+ member groups and over 1000 individual members.
Funds will also help build GNN’s volunteer programs and GNN’s outreach across the GTA. Now more than ever, we need more people doing more for the environment.

Sustaining Organizational Growth
Funding to help with operational needs strengthens GNN so it can continue empowering new and existing groups while expanding its reach across Toronto and the GTA.
Funding helps GNN help our members bring their exciting projects to life—like building more green spaces, launching educational programs, and supporting new local environmental initiatives.
