Bring your favourite but not-quite-fully-functional small appliances and electronics. Stay to watch and learn these precious repair skills from our fixers. Our fixers enjoy sharing their skills with the people who bring items to be fixed and every attendee has an amazing opportunity to develop repair skills and be mentored during the event.
Note: You can bring multiple items for repair but in order for the most number of attendees to get an item repaired, we will fix one item/person at a time. After an item is fixed, you can add your second item to the on-site waitlist.
All volunteer Repair Cafe fixers and coordinators generously donate their expertise and time to bring these events to our community, and they receive no compensation. So, any donations you would like to make are welcome, and can help cover our fixers’ and Karma’s expenses i.e. materials/consumables. Any surplus donations are shared with Karma Co-op and Repair Cafe Toronto for co-produced events.
