Back in 2020 when the Santa Claus parade was cancelled, a merry band of volunteers from Community Bikeways decided we had to cheer up children (and adults) along Yonge Street! From the North Pole (aka North York) to the Toronto waterfront, it was a joy to see kids’ faces light up as Santa (on a cargo bike), elves, and of course reindeer passed by! Six years later, this is our favourite bicycle event of the year!
The ride by Community Bikeways is sponsored or supported by PEDAAL (offering free coffee and cookies at Biidaasige Park), Curbside Cycle, and Cycle Toronto.
