Join us for the 16th annual EcoFair at Wychwood Barns on November 3, 2024, co-hosted by GNN! EcoFair celebrates sustainable living and environmental initiatives, showcasing local green businesses and projects. This event brings together the community for a day of learning, sharing, and celebrating progress towards a greener future.
The Role
Type: Volunteer
We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our Event Planning Team for EcoFair 2024. If you have a passion for environmental issues and event organization, we invite you to help us make this year’s EcoFair a success.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the overall planning and execution of the event.
- Coordinate with vendors, speakers, and workshop leaders to ensure a smooth operation.
- Help manage event logistics, including setup and breakdown.
- Work with the marketing team to promote the event across various channels.
- Engage with attendees, providing information and ensuring a positive experience.
Qualifications
- Passionate about sustainability and community building.
- Previous experience in event planning or volunteer management is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to dynamic situations.
- Available to commit time for planning meetings leading up to the event and full availability on the event day.
